Youth Programs

Thresh Hold’s youth program is intended for interested youth climbers that possess a desire to improve their all around rock climbing skills. Participants will gain a thorough understanding of bouldering and sport climbing from our knowledgeable coaches. Classes are designed to increase self-confidence through exercise and team support in a fun environment.

APPROACH – Youth Program

The Approach Program is a youth specific intro to climbing program.

Youth members will learn:

  • Belaying
  • Knot craft
  • Movement technique
  • Rapelling
  • Bouldering
  • Spotting

SCHEDULE:  2-month course,  1-time per week

Monday  4:30-6:30pm


$40 per month

ASCENT – Youth Team

Youth team members will learn:

  • Cross training
  • Route reading
  • Team building
  • Advanced climbing and training Technique

SCHEDULE:   2-times per week

Wednesday and Friday:     4:30-6:30pm


$60 per month

SUMMIT – Youth Competitive Team

Youth team members will learn:

  • Advanced climbing technique
  • Pro training techniques
  • Advanced cross training
  • Competition Preparation

SCHEDULE:  2-times per week

Tuesday:    5:00 – 7:00pm

Thursday:   5:00 – 7:00pm
